The Scottish seafood industry is vibrant and exciting, and made up of a number of different sectors.  It offers a wide range of options for you to explore in the classroom or on visits.  To help you use seafood as a context for learning, we have split the industry into 6 key sectors, each one using specific farming or catching methods and processing techniques and with unique markets in the UK, Europe, and the Far East or around the world.
